UFC Austin is down a fight, as Cowboy Cerrone vs. Joe Lauzon gets another day-of cancelation.

Once again, on the day the fight is supposed to go down, we won’t be seeing Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone vs. Joe Lauzon.

Per Ariel Helwani, tonight’s UFC Austin co-main event between the two Octagon legends has been canceled due to health issues for Lauzon.

Pretty wild. Last month, canceled on fight day because Cerrone got sick.

Today, canceled on fight day because of a health issue with Lauzon. He weighed in yesterday but didn’t show up to the ceremonials because he wasn’t feeling well.

Lauzon did not appear at the ceremonial weigh-in faceoffs yesterday due to reported cramping.

The pair had been scheduled to meet at UFC 274 in May, but the fight was scrapped on the day of the event due to a non-COVID19 illness Cerrone came down with.

Originally, the two had been pegged to face off at UFC London the week prior but had been moved to UFC 274 for unknown reasons.
