UFC bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling has backed the promotion’s president Dana White to beat up Jake Paul in a boxing match.
YouTube star turned boxer Paul recently included White on his updated five-man “bucket list”, with the likes of Mike Tyson and Tyson Fury also on the list.
White and Paul have an ongoing feud after the UFC boss has criticised the level of Paul’s competition in the ring, whilst Paul has scolded White for the treatment of his athletes.
Mirror Fighting understands Paul will take a seven-month layoff from the ring after fighting four times in 13 months, recently knocking out Tyron Woodley in their rematch.
And Sterling thinks White would beat Paul in a “hilarious” fight.

“He should fight Dana, that would actually be hilarious,” Sterling said on his YouTube channel.
“I think Dana might actually beat him up though cause Dana is his size and Dana’s actually boxed, I don’t know if he boxed like professionally, I think he might’ve done couple of amateur fights.
“But I think Dana got like decent hands and I think he’s watching a fight where he would be okay, just the cardio. They should fight, like that’s the fight to make right now.”
Whilst White has never competed in the ring professionally, he used to run “boxing fitness” classes long before he and the Fertitta brothers took the UFC from a $2million to a $4billion company.
The UFC boss teased the idea of expanding the company through ‘Zuffa Boxing’, but never moved into the sport after labelling it “screwed up and broken”.
White was involved with Showtime boxing in the co-promotion of UFC star Conor McGregor’s fight with ring legend Floyd Mayweather.

Paul called out White after his win against Woodley on December 18 and pleaded with the promoter to allow UFC fighters to crossover to the ring.
“I just knocked out a five-time UFC champion and embarrassed your whole company,” Paul said in a message to White.
“Please, please let me get Kamaru Usman, let me get Diaz, let me get Masvidal, let me get McGregor because I’m going to embarrass them too.
“I promise you that, Dana, I promise you that.”
UFC fighters are not allowed to compete in other organisations whilst under contract with the promotion, with McGregor being the only fighter to have done so.
Before Paul’s fight with Ben Askren in March, White played down working with Paul on any future fights stating he would never do business with him or his brother.
