Conor McGregor: Who will he fight next?

UFC middleweight Kevin Holland choked out an internet troll after he challenged them to a sparring session.

Holland is currently the 14th ranked middleweight in the UFC and has trained to black-belt level in Ju-Jitsu so is certainly a force to be reckoned with in the cage and while grappling.

An internet troll decided to pursue Holland online claiming that he would be able to submit him if the pair took part in a grappling contest.

The UFC star opted to pay for the man to travel to his gym and challenged him to a sparring session and he posted a video, captioned: “Vs how it’s going…. 1 troll down, way too many more to go! Call big mouth.”

The pair can be seen in the video wrestling before Holland very quickly uses a D’Arce choke against the troll which after a few seconds forces him to tap out.

Footage of the session is approximately 30 seconds long and this was an embarrassing turn of events for the internet troll.

Messages had been shown by Holland in the build-up to the fight, with the man claiming he could make Holland before accusing him of “ducking” a session.

The troll wrote a series of messages : “All I gotta say is even though you are a black belt, I’m positive I could submit you. Prove me wrong. Stop ducking me. Still ducking me p*******.”

This provided a stern message for people online who believed they could compete with a professional fighter who has a record of 8-4 in the UFC.

His last bout with the promotion ended in a no contest with Kyle Dakaus last October after a nasty clash of heads knocked Holland out cold.

This was a sickening blow to Holland who was looking to hand himself a vital boost in the rankings but he was ultimately left unable to continue.

Holland claimed he did not even “remember” the exchange that led to him being out cold in the octagon.

“I don’t remember anything,’ Holland said. “I felt myself hit the ground and all the sudden I felt him on my back.

“So whatever happened in between that, that’s just goodwill and God-given. I want to run it back, I want to run it back right now. I want to run it back with anyone that’s gotten the better of me.

“I’m that guy. If he wants to go somewhere else, that’s because he felt the head-butt was the best thing that could’ve happened to him.”

“I got respect for Kyle, Chris and the Daukaus family, but the fight game is the fight game and I don’t feel like it’s over.”

Holland was also spotted chasing down a car thief recently and apprehended the man with a scarf hold until police came to arrest him.
