Sam Alvey suffers ninth straight loss after Michal Oleksiejczuk TKO.
Michal Oleksiejczuk dropped Alvey in the opening moments of the first round and then landed ground and pound searching to finish off the veteran to serve him yet another loss. But Alvey got back up to his feet to just be sat down again and the fight was called off.
All in under two minutes.
Many fans wondered how Alvey still had a UFC contract considering his eight straight losses. His last win came via a split decision in 2018 and since then has lost back-to-back fights to Antônio Rogério Nogueira, Jimmy Crute, Klidson Abreu, Ryan Spann, Julian Marquez, Wellington Turman and Brendan Allen.
Alvey nearly missed weight for his bout but was allowed extra time to cut and come in under the wire for his fight on Saturday night.
It will be interesting to see if the UFC finally gives Alvey the axe.
