See how fellow UFC fighters reacted to the performances of Cory Sandhagen and Song Yadong in the UFC Vegas 60 main event, which Sandhagen won due to a doctor’s stoppage.
The doctor let the fight go on for as long as he could, but he eventually had to call off the UFC Vegas 60 main event.
Thanks to damaging shots from Cory Sandhagen over the course of four rounds, Song Yadong was finished before the fifth round could begin.
In addition to landing some flush shots, Yadong managed to hold off Sandhagen’s takedown attempts in the opening round. This included stuffing Sandhagen’s third attempt and getting to his back. Sandhagen looked to work with quick shots, but Yadong continued to land strong.
Things seemed to change in the second round, however, as Yadong suffered a nasty cut around an eye and Sandhagen continued to work the cut over. After stopping another Sandhagen takedown in the third, Yadong looked to turn things around but was out-pressured and outstruck against by Sandhagen.
After another round of pressure and striking from Sandhagen, the doctor stopped the fight before the fifth round.

Debuting in the UFC in 2018, Sandhagen won seven of his first eight bouts in the Octagon (his UFC debut came at featherweight) to make noise in the bantamweight picture. Sandhagen was submitted by Aljamin Sterling but rebounded with highlight finishes of Marlon Moraes and Frankie Edgar.
Sandhagen, however, entered this bout off back-to-back defeats, one a controversial decision against TJ Dillashaw and the other coming in an interim title fight with Petr Yan.
Yadong entered with wins in 10 of his last 12, including an 8-1-1 Octagon record prior to tonight’s bout. Yadong came in tonight with a three-fight win streak, most recently knocking out Moraes in March.
