Thepchaiya Un-Nooh came from 4-1 down to take a 5-4 lead over Ricky Walden in the first session of their Judgement Day clash in Sheffield.

The final qualifying round of the Cazoo World Championship runs on Tuesday and Wednesday, with eight winners on each day to go through to the Crucible for the final stages which start on Saturday.
Former semi-finalist Walden went 4-1 up with a top break of 130 but Thailand’s Un-Nooh then reeled off four frames in quick succession with runs of 80, 142, 96 and 123.
Jak Jones, seeking a Crucible debut, is 5-4 up on 2013 runner-up Barry Hawkins, who hasn’t missed the Crucible since 2005. From 4-2 down, Hawkins recovered to 4-4, but Welshman Jones finished the session with a break of 101, his second century of the match.
Stephen Maguire is another player on a long run of consecutive Crucible appearances but is in danger of missing out for the first time since 2003 as he trails Fan Zhengyi 5-4. From 4-0 down, China’s Fan took the next five frames with a top run of 102.
Graeme Dott, the 2006 Crucible king, is suffering from a shoulder injury and let slip a 4-2 lead against Matthew Selt, who hit back to finish 5-4 ahead. Zhang Anda made a 127 as he edged 5-4 ahead of Noppon Saengkham.
Anthony McGill, a semi-finalist in 2020, came from 3-0 down to lead Cao Yupeng 6-3 with a top run of 106. Shoot Out champion Chris Wakelin built a 6-3 advantage over Wu Yize.
All matches resume at 5pm, with first to ten frames to earn a place at the Theatre of Dreams.
