Naturally the holiday season brings about cheerful, tingly feelings, but Coach managed to heighten all of those joyful emotions by hosting a delightful fête at arguably the most festive place on earth: Rockefeller Center.
With the iconic Christmas tree as the backdrop and Saks Fifth Avenue’s brightly lit store in front, guests—like Anna Collins and Karrueche Tran gathered for a night of ice skating underneath the stars at Rockefeller Center. Before attendees strapped on their skates, Stuart Vevers, Coach’s creative director, welcomed everyone with a few kind words and introduced the latest reel of Coach campaigns inspired by laugh-out-loud funny ’90s movies and TV shows. In the clips, Home Alone was turned into a hilarious adventure starring Rickey Thompson, and it was aptly renamed to Coach Alone. While Quincy and his little sisters Chance, Jessie, and D’Lila, reimagined Family Matters into an equally adorable episode of Coach Matters. Even Jennifer Lopez made an on-screen appearance reviving her “All I Have” music video with scenes of her carrying an enviable collection of Coach handbags and luggage. “Of all the things we’ve dreamed up this year at Coach, Coach TV is one I’m most proud of,” Vevers explained in his opening remarks. The playful clips certainly brought a smile to each guest’s face.
“I love being in New York during this time of the year with Coach,” Taylour Paige told Vogue during the celebration. “The City is just so beautiful, romantic, and charming.” The setting for Coach’s party was so perfect, that even a heartwarming proposal took place.
There’s no need to feel left out of the magical night. The celebration marks the beginning of a multi-year partnership between Coach and Rockefeller Center. Until the end of the month, Visitors can stop by Après Skate at Rockefeller Center to sip on warm drinks—like the yummy Molten hot chocolate, which was served during the gathering—as well as enjoy delicious bites served up in a cozy little chalet right by the rink. There’s also a truck filled with Coach goodies for visitors to shop, from 11 a.m. to 7pm. EST daily. It’s the perfect place to grab a holiday gift for someone special (or yourself).
