Universal Works has followed up on its recent collaboration with Novesta by teaming up with Japanese courier brand Logiquest, as a part of its ongoing Future Friendship Project. After first joining hands in 2017, the latest offering from the duo includes a range of Universal Works styles that have been reimagined to fit the needs of Logiquest’s team.
The collaboration was initiated when UW co-founder David Keyte met with the owner of Logiquest, Daisuke Takahashi, while visiting Tokyo.
With a vision to build the best courier company in Japan, Takahashi tasked Universal Works’ head honcho to change the image of the standard courier, believing that a well-designed, high-quality uniform would not only allow his team to feel cool but would allow them to perform better, too.
Unleashed as part of an easy-to-wear colour palette, each piece is crafted with specific fabrics and details that are durable, easy to care for and fit for the different courier’s varied roles that range from riding motorcycles to working in corporate environments.
Designed to be both equally recognisable and a pleasure to wear, the collection features a selection of short-sleeved cycling jerseys, waterproof Technical Coats and summer-ready shirts, shorts and polo shirts. Long sleeve shirts and Uniform Jackets are also added to the mix and are topped off with branded cotton caps and Novesta shoes.
To celebrate the project, a small run of Universal Works for Logiquest Uniform Jackets and Uniform Polo Shirts are available to buy now via the Universal Works webstore.
