Uzbek president departs for Saudi Arabia

TASHKENT, 17th August, 2022 (WAM) –President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev departed on Wednesday for Saudi Arabia on a state visit at the invitation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia.

The President of Uzbekistan will visit the sacred city of Medina, reported the Uzbekistan National News Agency (UzA).

In the afternoon, the president will arrive in the city of Jeddah, where the official events of the Uzbekistan – Saudi Arabia Summit will take place.
