Vanessa Hudgens is serving major ’70s holiday glam with feathered hair and sparkling eyes

I can’t with Vanessa Hudgens’s ‘70s-inspired holiday glam, and I mean that in the nicest way possible. The Tick Tick Boom actor’s shoulder-length feathered hair and sparkly eyeshadow are the perfect pairings to channel ’70s beauty decadence.

Vanessa shared photos of her disco-fever throwback glam via Instagram. She channelled Bianca Jagger with her look and her crew of friends by her side in a post on 21 December. The actor also posted a three-part carousel of some close-up photos and a video of her look on 18 December.

Los Angeles-based hairstylist Dimitris Giannetos was responsible for putting together this ‘70s-chic look for Vanessa. He shared a video of Vanessa’s look on his Instagram page, mentioning in the caption that her hair is “serving Charlie’s Angels.”

Makeup artist Allan Avendaño and his assistant, Ruby Vo, were the artistic hands behind Hudgens’s glittery lids.

In his Instagram post of Vanessa’s look, Avendaño provided the full breakdown of the products he used to get Vanessa’s eyelids to glisten like a disco ball. MAC Glitter in Iridescent Sage, the Makeup by Mario Master Metallics Eye Shadow Palette, and Danessa Myricks Infinite Chrome Flakes in Lighting Bolt are among some of the many products that Avendaño used to get the actor’s lids shining bright.

Vanessa wore this nostalgic number for a rather altruistic (and festive) purpose. She debuted this look at the Los Angeles Mission’s Annual Holiday Fundraiser, which was held on 17 December in Beverly Hills.

For much of the world, many Christmas plans have been put on pause or cancelled altogether, but that shouldn’t stop you from getting all glammed up while spending time at home. In fact, Vanessa’s ‘70s feathered hairstyle was all over TikTok earlier this year, with creator Rose van Rijn’s tutorial and user @groovy_mal’s video of the look going viral, so you definitely have guides if you decide to try it out.
