The wait is over for the fan of Thalapathy Vijay as Varisu has got its release date. The makers of the film released the poster of the film on 30th November. Varisu Star Cast & Makers 

Kollywood megastar Thalapathy Vijay’s upcoming film which was tentatively called #Thalapathy66, as it is the 66th film of the actor’s career, has gotten a final title “Varishu”, creating buzz for its pre-release business. 

The film is co-written and directed by Vaashi Paidipally a popular director known for his Telugu films like Maharshi, Munna, Oopiri, Brindavanam, and Yevadu. Varisu is a bilingual movie which is titled Vaarasudu in Telugu and Varisu is a Tamil version.

In the opposite of Thalapathy, Pushpa and Geeta Govindam fame Rashmika Mandanna is playing the lead role. Alongside the main leads, Prakash Raj, Khushbu, Prabhu, Samyuktha Shanmughanathan, R. Sarathkumar, and Sangeetha Krish play the supporting roles, whereas Mahesh Babu has a cameo in the movie. 

Varisu Plot & Budget 

Varisu revolves around the story of a business tycoon and his heir, who takes over the business under some difficult circumstances. Thalapathy Vijay is playing the titular character – Varisu aka heir – in the film.

This film is not genre-based. when makers cater to a larger section of audiences, they added all the genres into it. Though, the base of the film is a family drama. But all the factors that Vijay sir needs, are everything his fans demand.  

Varisu is made in a lavish way with 250 budgets, where Vijay has taken approx. 50% of Varisu’s budget which is possibly the highest remuneration-seeking star of the Tamil industry. 

Varisu Release Date & Trailer 

The shooting of Varisu began on 6th April 2022 and was wrapped up on 15th April in Chennai and the second schedule of the shooting was done in Hyderabad and completed on May 23. The movie will have a Pongal release which is 14th January 2023 as announced by the makers.
