Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor will pair up for the first time on screen in Nitesh Tiwari directed Bawaal. The excitement for this pairing has been quite high ever since the film’s announcement. Add to it the reputation of Nitesh and you already have a winner in your hands. However, seems like the audience will have to wait a little longer to see Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor come together on the 70 mm.
Bawaal release date postponed
Bawaal was officially announced last year in the month of April. Along with it, the makers revealed that the film will release theatrically on April 7, 2023. However, latest reports suggest that the release date for Bawaal has been pushed owing to the VFX work. A report in Pinkvilla stated that the film has been postponed to a yet-unannounced date because of technical requirements. The visual excellence that the team is aiming for will take a little more time to finish than expected.
Both Varun and Janhvi had kept their fans updated about their shoot experiences on Bawaal through their social media. Their fun banter off screen and the playful chemistry between them had made their fans curious to see them together on screen. Varun and Janhvi were earlier reported to pair up for Shashank Khaitan’s Mr Lele, but eventually it didn’t work out. Now, it remains to be seen what new release date will the makers opt for. Meanwhile, Janhvi has Mr and Mrs Mahi up next with RajKummar Rao whereas Varun has his OTT debut, Citadel India in the pipeline.
