Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon left no stone unturned to promote their recently released movie, Bhediya, which is a supernatural drama with a dash of humour and a lot of suspense.
During their promotion spree, the duo visited many reality shows from where one of their videos went viral. In the video, Kriti and Varun are seen having a funny banter, and during their exchange of words, Varun spilled the beans about Kriti’s love life.
After Kriti Sanon, now Varun Dhawan has given a clarification about his remark on ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10’ that suggested that Kriti is dating her Adipurush co-star Prabhas. There has already been a buzz around their relationship for quite some time and Varun’s comment added fuel to the fire.
Reposting Kriti’s Instagram Story in which she denied dating Prabhas, Varun wrote: “Guys UI had your fun but it’s just fun and stuff the channels have edited to have fun we took it as humour don’t let ur imagination run so wild.”
In the morning Kriti had dispelled rumours about her wedding by addressing them on her Instagram story. Kriti wrote, “It’s neither pyaar, nor PR…our Bhediya just went a little too wild on a reality show. And his fun banter lead to some Howl-arious rumours. Before some portal announces my wedding date – let me burst your bubble. The rumours are ABSOLUTELY baseless.” She also added a ‘Fake News’ sticker at the end.
Varun joked about Kriti and Prabhas’ rumoured romance
In a video, Karan Johar was seen asking Varun about some lists and why Kriti’s name is missing from that list. To this, Varun replies, “Kriti ka naam isiliye nahi tha kyunki Kriti ka naam kisi ke dil me hai. Ek aadmi hai jo Mumbai me nahi hai, vo iss waqt shooting kar raha hai Deepika Padukone ke saath. (Kriti’s name is not here because her name is in someone’s heart. That man is not in Mumbai because right now he is shooting with Deepika Padukone).”
For the unversed, Prabhas is currently shooting with Deepika Padukone for their upcoming movie ‘Project K’. Kriti and Prabhas will be seen sharing the screen space in Om Raut’s ‘Adipurush’. Earlier, in an interview, Kriti said that she would marry Prabhas if she gets a chance.
