After struggling with the recently released movie Mister Mummy, Riteish and Genelia are back with a Marathi film titled Ved which is touted to be a thriller movie. The actor debuting directorial with this film, who is also turned producer in the Marathi film industry debuted Balak-Palak.

Ved: Cast & Crew 

The movie is directed by Riteish Deshmukh under the banner of Mumbai Film Company and will feature Riteish Deshmukh, Genelia Deshmukh who marks her debut in the Marathi film industry, Ashok Saraf, and Jiya Shankar as lead characters.

The film was written by Sandeep S. Patil and Rushikesh Turai. The film’s music is composed by Ajay-Atul while the lyrics are written by Ajay – Atul and Guru Thakur. 

Salman Khan is confirmed to make a cameo in the film, the superstar has shared this on the occasion of Riteish Deshmukh’s birthday with a teaser video of his cameo announcement. 

Ved: Plot 

Ved is an upcoming Marathi language film, which is a romantic thriller drama genre movie directed by Riteish Deshmukh. The story is inspired by the 2019 Telugu language film Majili.

The story of Ved involves the romantic relationship between Riteish and Genelia and their unresolved situation are both evident in the trailer. They are both deeply in love with one another.

But their relationship has a void now that they have been married for seven years. The 2 minutes 10 seconds trailer is all about love and heartbreak.

On October 26, Riteish posted on social media the news of their next movie, Ved. The actor-director also shared the first image from the movie, which features Riteish and Genelia D’Souza.
