Vicky Kaushal, Sara Ali Khan starrer confirmed to release on June 2

Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan starrer is one of the most anticipated films of the year. Vicky and Sara will be seen together in Laxman Utekar’s upcoming project for the first time. It was earlier reported that Sara and Vicky’s film will release in place of Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan. On Saturday, the makers confirmed the news. Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan starrer will release on 2^nd June, 2023.

Apart from the release date, the makers also announced that Vicky-Sara starrer’s title will be announced on 16^th May. 16^th May also marks Vicky Kaushal’s birthday. The film is directed by Laxman Utekar and produced by Dinesh Vijan.

For the uninitiated, the Laxman Utekar directorial will not clash with Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan. Earlier today, Shah Rukh Khan announced that Jawan will release on 7^th September, 2023. The Atlee directorial was earlier scheduled to release on 2^nd June, but it has now been postponed.

Earlier this year, Sara announced the wrap of her upcoming project with Vicky Kaushal. The actress’ caption read, “It’s a film wrap. Can’t believe it’s already over! Thank you @laxman.utekar sir for giving me Somya. Thank you for all the guidance, patience and support.” She added, “Thank you for always being so understanding and always pushing me to do better and better.”

Sara went on to add, “@vickykaushal09 every day with you on set has been a blast. From enjoying Punjabi songs and bonfires to early morning drives and copious cups of chai. Thank you for making this journey so memorable for me. You’re one of the most humble, talented and gifted actors I’ve met, and I’m so privileged that I got to share screen space with you and learn so much from you.”
