Victor Wembanyama is the most hyped prospect since LeBron James.

That’s why the San Antonio Spurs drafted him No. 1 overall in the 2023 NBA Draft. Head coach Gregg Popovich, the winningest coach in NBA history, will develop him further.

During summer league, the 19-year-old had ups and downs but showed his potential to become great.

With the summer league behind him, Wembanyama is working on a new move ahead of the 2023 season.

“I’ve been working on my skyhook,” he told Bleacher Report. “You know, the Kareem skyhook, and hopefully, someday, it can be a weapon to add.”

Kareem’s skyhook is one of the most unstoppable shots in NBA history, and that’s a reason why he’s been the NBA’s leading scorer for so long before Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James surpassed him this past season.

Wembanyama has the height of a seven-footer to use the skyhook consistently as Kareem did during his career.
