Victoria Beckham succumbs to viral Croc boot trend

Victoria Beckham succumbs to viral Croc boot trend

Dear Victoria Beckham: Stop right now, thank you very much. The woman once known as Posh Spice, the most stylish and classy of the Spice Girls, voluntarily wore the viral gigantic MSCHF boots in a new color that can only be described as “McDonald’s yellow.”

For reasons unknown, she even posted photographic evidence of the crime on her Instagram Stories. Is she okay? I am not okay, if anyone’s wondering.

On Tuesday, Beckham shared a snap of herself on Instagram Stories wearing a standard Victoria Beckham outfit from head to upper calf: a black tank top paired with a black skirt. She wore her hair in a ponytail and kept the rest of her beat simple.

But you cannot miss what was on her feet: the oversized, cartoonish Crocs x MSCHF boots that look like one third of a Spongebob costume. Beckham tagged MSCHF in the story and included a yellow heart graphic.

The big yellow boots that took our girl away will be released to the public for £347 in August, per MSCHF’s website, which currently features Paris Hilton modelling the footwear on its homepage.

Earlier this year MSCHF’s first click-bait boots—the aptly named Big Red Boot—captivated the nation (possibly the world) and were worn by celebs including Ciara, Doja Cat, and Janelle Monáe. Someone, make it stop.
