The ever-popular Victoria Falls situated on the Zambezi River, bordering Zimbabwe and Zambia will soon become even more accessible to passengers from South Africa.
This could result in fares to the exciting destination becoming more competitive.
TOURISM HOTSPOT
The spectacular Victoria Falls is one of the 7 Natural Wonders of the World. It attracts visitors from all corners of the globe.
With international tourism in recovery mode, there is a gradual increase in tourism flows to tourist hotspots all over the world.
Victoria Falls is seeing a return of international visitors, driving the need for more flights to this tourism highlight.

FLIGHTS TO VIC FALLS
The popular destination is currently served by a number of carriers including South African Airways, Air Zimbabwe, Fastjet and Airlink. There is, however, a need for more flights.
The demise of British Airways last year resulted in reduced capacity of seats in SA as well as to regional destinations including Victoria Falls.
NEW ROUTE
CemAir will add another new route to its growing route network of scheduled flights.
Flights to the latest destination in its regional route network are due to start on 9 August.

FLIGHT SCHEDULE
The route will be served four times per week. Flights will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
Flights will depart Johannesburg at 11.20 and arrive in Victoria Falls at 13.00.
Return flights depart Victoria Falls at 13.00 and arrive in Johannesburg at 15.10.
NETWORK EXPANSION
Cemair is currently in an expansion phase. The airline is looking to add new routes to its route network.
According to Tourism Update, Cemair has applied to the International Air Services Council (IASC) for rights to serve other regional destinations.
