The Miami Heat entered Monday night’s Game 7 with tons of pressure on them.
With the Eastern Conference Finals now tied 3-3 with the Boston Celtics, the Heat were in great danger of becoming the first team in NBA history to lose a series after being up 3-0.
But the Heat prevented that from happening on Monday, defeating the Celtics 103-84 at TD Garden to advance to the NBA Finals.
After the victory, head coach Erik Spoelstra gave a passionate speech in the Heat locker room which went viral on social media.
“When things don’t go your way, we just keep on forcing ahead… Suffer, suffer and suffer until you get what you want,” he said.
“Erik Spoelstra had some words of wisdom for the Heat locker room after winning his first Game 7 on the road.”
