During her Russian imprisonment over the past year, Brittney Griner became a highly-polarizing figure used by many to push their political agendas.

On Saturday, the Phoenix Mercury superstar was harassed by one of these people at the Dallas airport.

Griner’s WNBA team released an official statement regarding the incident.

The man in the video, Alex Stein, has since posted the clip on social media.

“Since the @WNBA is writing press releases about me…here is a snippet of my interaction with Brittney Griner today….” he wrote on Twitter.

The video shows Stein yelling at Griner as she walked through the airport with her Mercury teammates.

“Hey Brit, do you still want to boycott America?” he shouted.

Griner’s security removed Stein from the situation as he continued to ask questions about the controversial prisoner swap that brought the WNBA player home.

Take a look at the video here:

Griner has received a ton of support since her return to the United States in December. Unfortunately, there will always be people like this who use her situation for their own views and political agendas.
