According to estimates, the movie grossed more than ₹50 crores across the country in its opening weekend. This represents the ongoing affection that viewers throughout the nation and the world have shown for recent Kannada, Tamil, and Telugu films.

Sudeep, Nirup Bhandari, and Neetha Ashok star in the Zee Studios production Vikrant Rona, which is directed by Anup Bhandari and produced by Jack Manjunath under the banner of Shalini Artss and Alankar Pandian of Invenio Origins. It was made available in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Hindi, among other languages. The movie premiered on July 28. It is among the most costly Kannada movies ever made at a budget of ₹95 crores.
