VILLARREAL, Spain, 3rd May, 2022 (WAM) — Liverpool’s Luis Diaz was absolutely electric off the bench to put Liverpool into another Champions League final as Villarreal’s first-half intensity waned to give Liverpool their advantage back.

In the first half, Villarreal scored a lightning quick opening goal as Boulaye Dia fired the ball into the back of the net after three minutes before Capoue did a wonderful jump to turn Robertson inside out on the right wing and hang a ball up for Coquelin to head into the top corner.

The second half was a totally different story as goalkeeper Rulli errors proved costly before Diaz and Mane completed Liverpool comeback!
