The video has been viewed 21.9K times on Twitter. A strong earthquake hit the Japanese island of Hokkaido in the Pacific Ocean on Saturday night. The magnitude of the earthquake was reported to be 6.2 on Richter scale.
However, this video is not related to this earthquake. Let us find out what the truth.

We did a keyword search on Google using keywords relevant from the viral video and found the video on YouTube. The video is available on this YouTube channel since last 3 years.
The above video is posted by Japanese media organization ANN news. The description of the video says this incident happened during the major earthquake that devastated Japan in 2011. The title also indicates that this footage is from Sendai airport in Meyagi Japan.
The video was published on 17 Jan 2020 on the ANN news’ YouTube channel. Hence, we can ascertain that the video is not of the recent earthquake that hit Hokkaido last Saturday.
