NEW DELHI: Modern-day great Virat Kohli expressed his gratitude on social media on completing 12 years in Test cricket on Tuesday.
Star India batter Kohli wore Team India whites for the first time on June 20, 2011 as he made his Test debut against West Indies in Kingston, Jamaica.
Kohli took to Twitter on this unforgettable moment to express his feelings saying: “12 years in test cricket today. Forever grateful”.

However, Kohli, who has played 109 Test matches, amassing an impressive 28 centuries at an average of 48.72 till date, didn’t have a great debut as he could only score 4 and 15 runs in both the innings of his maiden Test and got out to pacer Fidel Edwards on both the occasions.
