“Retrospective I,” a new photo exhibit on display until Dec. 1 in the lobby of the John Chalberg Theatre, focuses on the work of over 45 local actors who have appeared in 19 different productions that have graced the Brainerd Community Theatre stage over the past five years.

Brainerd Community Theatre Director Patrick Spradlin collaborated with local photographer John Erickson, a retired attorney, over the past several years to chronicle the work that has appeared on BCT stages.

The Front Gallery is showcasing art by Charles Kapsner, Michele Feriancek, Lois Rhomberg and Armando Gutiérrez G. The pieces include animals, flowers, and the military, amongst other things. The exhibit will be shown through Nov. 20.

“Of 3 Minds” will be displayed in the Main Gallery until Jan. 1 and will showcase the artworks of Suzann Beck, Donna Meyer, and Marko Fields.

“A Few of Your Favorite Things” exhibit will be on display until Nov. 27 and features artworks from all ages in a variety of mediums.

A knitted sweater, a photograph or maybe a child’s Lego sculpture could be on display; the only rule for submissions was that the artworks must be homemade or handmade.

Gallery hours of 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesdays and Thursdays; 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Fridays; and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays.
