Vladimir Putin and his rumoured lover, Alina Kabaeva, are reportedly expecting another girl, despite previous claims that he “has enough children.”

Putin, 69, who has two daughters with his ex-wife Lyudmila, is also said to have two secret sons with Kabaeva — though the Russian president has denied he and the 39-year-old former gymnast are or have ever been in a relationship.

“We have already reported that Alina Kabaeva, the cohabitant of the president of Russia, is pregnant,” the General SVR Telegram channel reported, according to the U.K. Sun.

“Yesterday, the sex of the unborn child became known – this is a girl.”

The General SVR Telegram channel added that the news “did not at all please the future father and president of Russia,” who, when informed of the baby details, grumbled, “I have enough children as it is, and had enough daughters long ago.”

Putin’s two daughters, businesswoman Maria Vorotsova, 37, and scientist Katerina Tikhonova, 35, are the Russian ruler’s only official children.

He is also suspected of having a third daughter, 18-year-old social media star Luiza Rozova, from a previous relationship with Svetlana Krivonogikh.

Kabaeva, who is on several countries’ sanctions list — including Canada’s — for her association with Putin, has been called “the most flexible woman in Russia” after winning a gold medal for Russia at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens.
