As a shopping editor and skin-care believer, I’ve tested thousands of products that promise a healthier, more vibrant face. Plenty of bottles have earned their permanent placement in my medicine cabinet, but there’s one type of treatment that I use multiple times a week for never-fail good skin: peel pads. I’ve been using these for a few months, and my skin has honestly never looked more vibrant. Not only do I rarely experience breakouts now, but when I do (hello, period), I can count on these ACV pads to help with redness and inflammation. For some context: I have combo-oily skin that’s acne-prone, and my pores clog easily. Exfoliation has been the one skin-care method that’s actually given me consistently healthier skin.

But it’s nothing too aggressive, and the odor doesn’t linger (don’t worry—your face won’t smell like salad dressing all night long).
