Two coffee lovers. Six years. And now four brick-and-mortar locations with an ever-growing team of baristas and bakers.
After successfully managing three shops through the pandemic, owners Sameer Shah and Lauren Burns have unveiled their newest Voyager Craft Coffee. The Cupertino shop is now in a soft opening phase, with initial hours of 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The couple was inspired by their travels to launch their venture six years ago, and the menu shows it. Besides pour-overs made with farm-sourced coffee beans — the Bali Kintamani has returned to the menu — they specialize in destination-themed drinks such as the orange-scented Valencia, the spicy coconut cayenne Bali and the Lexington, with a house-made bourbon reduction.
Popular drinks on the seasonal menu include the Strawberry Matcha and the Santa Clara Sunrise.
Voyager’s bakery team supplies the shops with fresh pastries daily. Besides the bestselling Frittata and Maple Walnut Coffee Cake, the array features a Morning Bun, a vegan Mango Cupcake and the savory Gougere. Toasts include Egg Salad Ricotta, Avocado Hummus, Sun-Dried Tomato Caprese and Almond Butter with Strawberries.
Details: The Cupertino location is 20807 Stevens Creek Blvd. The O.G. shop is at 3985 Stevens Creek Blvd., Santa Clara; and the other two expansion shops at 2221 The Alameda in Santa Clara and at San Pedro Square Market in downtown San Jose. www.facebook.com/voyagercraftcoffee
