When it came to choosing a location for their wedding, Broome was a no-brainer for Danielle Brown and Adam Smart.
As well as being a favourite holiday destination for the couple, it was also where they got engaged.
With Danielle’s family from Adelaide and Adam’s from Perth, it was also a great spot for everyone to holiday together as part of their destination wedding.
And the infamous red earth at Broome’s Gantheaume Point served up a striking backdrop for their treasured wedding photos.
Sparks flew when the couple met through Tinder in 2016 while both working in Carnarvon — Danielle as a dietitian and Adam as an electrician.
When and where
The pair exchanged vows at Entrance Point on April 30, 2022 before enjoying a reception with their 100 guests at Broome Fishing Club.
Dress
Danielle managed to snag her stunning dress second-hand for just $600 online. She tried the dress, which retailed new for $3000, in a bridal store and was lucky enough to find that the only one listed in Australia was her size.
Honeymoon
The newlyweds completed a three-week camping trip from Broome to the Northern Territory and back in their rooftop tent.
