Benny the Butcher is back with new music.

After dropping a number of joint records throughout the year, the Griselda member teamed up with iyla on her new track “Lost Me.” The Kadis-produced song was accompanied by a black-and-white video that went heavy on old-school noir vibes. The visual, directed by B, showed the duo on a production set as the reflected on a past romance and their decision to walk away from the toxic relationship.

“Going hard to make me jealous until I end up hating you,” Benny raps. “Posting pics, randoms grading you in your bathing suit/Almost lost mines making silly mistakes/She wants Ciara and Russ, we’re more Biggie and Faith.”

“Lost Me” continues iyla’s steady stream of 2022 releases, following singles like “FOH,” “2LATE,” and “Sad Bitch Bad Bitch.” The Los Angeles native has not released a full-length effort since 2020’s Other Ways to Vent, which included her hit record “Cash Rules,” featuring Method Man. iyla has yet to confirm if “Lost Me” is a loosie or part of project.

Benny has remained busy throughout the year, having dropped his Tana Talk 4 album back in March, as well as his Long Live DJ Shay mixtape with the Black Soprano Family about six months later. The Buffalo-born rapper is now gearing up to release his fourth solo LP under the Def Jam imprint. Benny teased the record earlier this year on Twitter, saying it’ll mark the label’s best hip-hop album since DMX’s 1998 project It’s Dark & Hell is Hot.
