NEW DELHI: Already out of the play-off reckoning, Delhi Capitals skipper David Warner was out in the middle to enjoy in the final game of the season as he hilariously mimicked Chennai Super Kings all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja’s trademark sword celebration in front of him in a fun banter.
The light-hearted moment which had everyone in splits took place in the fifth over of DC run chase when Warner took a risky run off Deepak Chahar.
Moeen Ali had a shy at the stumps at the bowler’s end but Warner survived the run out. Warner then cheekily stood out of his crease and teased Ajinkya Rahane to have a go at the stumps again. As Rahane did throw at the stumps Warner got back and the ball then went to Ravindra Jadeja.
As Jadeja yet again threatened to target the stumps, Warner swung the bat just like Jadeja, perfectly mimicking his sword celebration.
