NEW DELHI: Ahead of the second Test against the West Indies beginning on Thursday, Team India players caught up with legendary Brian Lara on Wednesday in Trinidad.
Indian captain Rohit Sharma, star batter Virat Kohli, Mohammed Siraj, Shardul Thakur, Ajinkya Rahane, and Ruturaj Gaikwad were seen having a chat with Lara in a video posted by BCCI on Twitter.

“When in Trinidad, you do not miss catching up with the legendary Brian Lara,” BCCI captioned the post.
Head coach Rahul Dravid, who had faced numerous battles against Lara in past matches between India and West Indies, was also spotted engaging in a candid conversation.
After clinching the first Test by an innings and 141 runs India will hope to make a clean-sweep in the two-match series.
The game will mark the 100th Test between the two teams and though India skipper Rohit Sharma said it will be a big occasion, his team will be expected to dominate the West Indies like it did in the series opener in Dominica.

Rohit also ruled out drastic changes in the winning combination but admitted that inclement weather hasn’t helped in getting clarity about the Queens Park Oval track.
“In Dominica (first Test venue), we had a clear idea when we saw the pitch and knew the conditions. Here we don’t have clarity as there is talk of rain, but I don’t think there will be drastic changes. But whatever conditions are available, based on that, we will make that decision,” Rohit said.
