The MI New York vs Los Angeles Knight Riders match witnessed a hilarious incident where the batter, bowler and the wicket-keeper are all West Indian.
It all happened when MI New York skipper Kieron Pollard pulled off a unique celebration after dismissing his compatriot and Los Angeles Knight Riders batter Andre Russell who was caught behind by Nicholas Pooran.
Pollard and Pooran went for the review after the umpire ruled in favour of Russell who missed the big swipe across the line. The ball was close to the toe-end of the bat and there was a slight spike.
The third umpire asked the on field umpire to overturn his decision and then Pollard went bonkers with his celebratory run followed by a playful and quirky pose
In a strong show, MI New York defeated Los Angeles Knight Riders by 105 runs to secure their first win of the MLC at Grand Prairie Stadium, Dallas on Sunday.
The MI New York put up a total of 155/8 in their 20 overs before bowling out the Los Angeles Knight Riders for just 50 runs.
