Minnesota Timberwolves star Rudy Gobert just threw a punch at one of his teammates on the bench.
That’s certainly not how you want to wrap up the 2022-23 regular season if you’re Gobert and the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Gobert and Timberwolves forward Kyle Anderson were having a heated discussion during a timeout. Then, Gobert swung on his teammate.
“Oh my Rudy Gobert just threw a punch at his own teammate Kyle Anderson,” Kevin O’Connor of The Ringer tweeted, showing a video of the punch thrown.

Teammates can often have heated discussions, but you almost never see it get as physical as it got here.
It would not be surprising to see Gobert facing stiff punishment for his actions on the bench on Sunday afternoon.
“Rudy Gobert was escorted to the back after having the physical altercation with Kyle Anderson. Video shows Gobert throwing a punch at Anderson and then teammates separating the two,” Andrew Lopez reported.
