NEW DELHI: The training camp for Team India‘s 2023 Asia Cup campaign is being held at Alur, on the outskirts of Bengaluru.
On August 30, Pakistan will play Nepal at Multan, Pakistan, to kick off the Asia Cup. On September 2, India will face Pakistan in their opening game at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium in Kandy, Sri Lanka.
The BCCI on their social media account on X posted a video of Indian players training hard for the upcoming tournament.

In the video, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul, Hardik Pandya, Shubman Gill, and Ravindra Jadeja and other batters were seen sweating it out in the nets.

Indian bowlers Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj, Mohammed Shami, Prasidh Krishna and others were practicing to maintain correct line and length required for Lankan pitches.

Six nations will compete for cricket’s Asia Cup co-hosted by Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
Won by Sri Lanka a year ago over the T20 format, this year the Asia Cup reverts to 50 overs.
The top two teams from each group advance to the Super Four with the leading two in the standings contesting the final in Colombo on September 17.
