After opting to bowl against Royal Challengers Bangalore, Boult struck on the first ball of the match to dismiss Kohli, who endured a rare failure in the IPL 2023, for a golden duck.
The left-arm pacer Boult delivered his signature inswinger that went past Kohli’s inside edge and caught him plumb in front at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Sunday.
Kohli has been in sublime touch in this season as he along with his RCB Faf du Plessis skipper emerged as the most successful opening duo in the tournament with four and five fifties respectively.
