It was about damn time Lizzo went remote and enjoyed some R&R after a whirlwind of a Grammy-winning, BET-performing, and chart-topping summer. On August 6, the artist appeared to be on a well-deserved holiday and has a new protective hairdo vacationing along with her.
The location has yet to be confirmed, but from the looks of it, cotton-candy-blue skies and sandy white beaches were involved. As for her hairstyle, we’ve got all the details. Her box braids inched below her waist and gave a relaxed feel with loose, wavy ends in clear sight. She wore her new style with pink-rimmed sunglasses, French-tipped, stiletto-shaped nails with swirls, and Chanel pearls wrapped around her waist.
It’s not very so often we see the artist opting for long braids, but when we do, it’s impossible not to take notice. In the first post of two that she shared of this look on her Instagram page, her braids came parted down the middle and fell evenly against her chest. As for the second set of photos (shown below), her braids continued to look fresh, lengthy, and absolutely glorious in a high ponytail.
