Another New York Fashion Week season is here, which means editors, influencers, A-listers, and more are creating some serious fashion eye candy. Sure, the runway collections from our favorite designers are a guaranteed way to get great outfit inspo, but the NYFW street style? I’d argue that’s the best way to drum up some immediate OOTD ideas. I mean, people are putting these outfits together now with clothing that’s already on the market, so you know you can get their looks ASAP. I personally love seeing the creativity of the attendees’ outfits. They typically include a mix of high-end and affordable pieces that make the ‘fits easy to replicate—and that’s a win in my book.
This season, a ton of NYFW goers have experimented with mixing bright hues or going monochrome. This feels like a much-needed move to get us out of the winter funk. Although the cold weather typically makes me want to bundle up in the cozy sweatshirt I’ve owned since college, this fabulous display of vibrant outerwear on our street style faves is getting me v hyped about a new statement coat.
Whether you’re simply in need of a new bold look to add to your wardrobe or you just want to get in on the New York Fashion Week fun, we’ve rounded up our favorite looks and listed similar or exact styles to shop below at your leisure.

This outfit is proof that you don’t need to go overboard with the color to make a total splash. Pair a dark-wash denim skirt and a white top with a humble red puffer coat and you’ve got yourself a dazzling pop of color that will turn heads everywhere you go.

I’ll be honest, based on my own experience, I’ve learned that playing around with multiple colors can go south really quick, but this ensemble single handedly convinced me to pair orange and green for my next date night outfit. While color blocking can seem a bit daunting at first, I’ve decided to challenge myself from here on out to put together a mix of hues I never thought to combine. Today: green and orange. Tomorrow, I’m thinking about going for purple and yellow. Or perhaps even blue and red?

In one of my favorite combos, this attendee looked effortlessly cool in a pair of relaxed jeans, a cropped white tee, and a plaid jacket. To make the denim stand out even more, she added a pair of platform heels and a gorg flashy belt.

A head-to-toe monochrome fit is always a fun move, and this all-green take is nothing short of absolutely breathtaking. A matching set from Ulla Johnson with different textures, like a fishnet top underneath, is definitely the move. I’m begging myself to get my co-ord outfit on and try this, stat.

Valentine’s Day is only one day away, but if I could copy and paste this outfit into my wardrobe in time for tomorrow, I would. This fashionista paired a red sweater and bag alongside some fave sunnies and Valentino heels for a fun, low-effort look. I’m willing to bet you have all you need to replicate this outfit in your closet rn.

While the matching set here is a major part of this outfit, it’s the shoes that are drawing me in. These bright suede boots are a show-stopper against the navy blue pieces; and it’s tied together perfectly with the subtle hint of gold jewelry.

In the wintertime, if you’re feeling particularly uninspired with your OOTDs, a pick-me-up in the form of a bold coat will add some flair. In this case, the flashy yellow coat from Apparis is enough to bring the sunshine out with just one glance.

The phrase “going from day to night” can be a bit cliché, but this look gets it. The simple addition of some stylish accessories (like this gorg blue purse) paired with a classic white button-down and a colorful skirt can make a world of a difference.
