A lucky West Aussie has millions of reasons to celebrate, after scoring a division one win in the $30 million Saturday Lotto Megadraw.
The winning ticket, sold from Dog Swamp Newsagency in Yokine, is now worth $2 million and is among 15 division one tickets across the nation.
Lotterywest spokesperson James Mooney said the result is another boost for WA Saturday Lotto players.
“Since January, 29 West Aussies have shared in more than $38 million in division one prizes thanks to Saturday Lotto alone,” he said.
“Plus, tonight 19 WA players can celebrate a Division Two win, with their tickets worth $13,000 each.”
Thanks to WA players, $5.5 million from ticket sales for tonight’s draw alone will go back to the WA community through Lotterywest’s grants program.
The winning numbers from tonight’s draw are 4, 30, 21, 37, 29 and 8.
The huge win comes after one lucky punter from NSW took out the $100m Powerball on Thursday night.
The Sydney dad became the second-biggest lottery winner ever in Australia, being the only division one winning entry in the draw.
