From flying high to sinking low, West Coast premiership star Mark LeCras has experienced it all.
The former Eagles small forward is well known as a keen fisherman, but with the experiences comes the hardships as he found out this weekend when his boat sank.
LeCras, who kicked 441 goals in 219 matches, shared pictures of his boat sinking as well as getting lifted out of the water.
The post, in which LeCras made fun of himself by writing “if ya not getting bogged or sinking a boat then your not having a crack”, garnered attention from plenty of former teammates including ruckman Nic Naitanui and Mark Hutchings.
LeCras regularly posts pictures of his fishing explores, including three weeks ago with a big tuna he caught off the beach.
The 36-year-old retired from footy after the 2018 premiership victory and has made appearances for his junior club Cervantes, winning a premiership with them this year.
LeCras kicked a staggering 15 goals for the Sharks earlier this season against Jurien Bay in the Central Midlands Coastal competition.
He also helped out at Fremantle last season as a part-time specialist forwards coach, sharing his knowledge after strong career as one of the premier small forwards in the AFL.
