The EU proposes a digital wallet to carry all documentation online
The European Union has launched a Project very innovative that proposes a solution against the loss of important documentation, as well as a way to facilitate its review and portability. Under the name ‘EU Digital Wallet’ it is proposed to create a digital wallet that contains from the DNI, the driver’s license, official documents, insurance, certificates or diplomas, in an application that will have a high protection system to be able to make transfers or manage payments.
The NOBID Consortium brand is a pioneer in this method, which seeks to bring together all these official identifiers in a digital wallet that records the most important private information in one place, so that users can always have it at hand in their mobile devices. At the moment, it is studied to start the tests this coming marchbeing the participating countries in this initiative: Germany, Italy, Denmark, Norway, Iceland and Lithuania, although it is estimated that if it is well received, it can be extended to the entire European Union.
