Football fans are set for a big weekend with Chelsea taking on Liverpool for the FA Cup.
The FA Cup final will see both squads face off for the prestigious prize, which happens to be the oldest national football competition in the world.
As fans gear up for the final, let’s look at what we know so far, including the kick-off time and how to watch the match live…
What time is kick-off for the FA Cup final?
The FA Cup final will take place on Saturday, May 14 with the match kicking off at 4.45pm.
The match will take place at Wembley Stadium.
Refereeing the momentous game is Craig Pawson.
‘It’s been a lifetime’s ambition to referee the FA Cup final and it’s the pinnacle of anyone’s career so I’m elated to receive the honour’, he said.
‘It’s going to be a great final between two great teams and the fact that it’s the 150th anniversary of the first FA Cup Final as well is the cherry on the top.’
How to watch the FA Cup final
This year, the BBC and ITV have shared the broadcast rights for the FA Cup, with the final set to be shown on both channels.
Coverage starts at 3:45pm on ITV, with analysis and commentary from Joe Cole, Roy Keane, Ian Wright, Robbie Fowler and Laura Woods.
Over on the BBC, fans can enjoy a whole day of build-up to the match, with special editions of Match of the Day looking back at the most memorable Cup finals, and a retrospective of the 2022 FA Cup’s road to Wembley.
The first of these shows start at 1:45pm, with coverage of the main event from 4pm.

Odds of Liverpool winning in 90 minutes are 21/20, with Chelsea at 13/5. Odds of a draw at the end of the 90 minutes is 12/5.
