The five time Ballon d’Or winner had been without a club since leaving Manchester United in November, with fans across the globe excited to see Ronaldo return to club football once again.
But when could the Portuguese icon first appear in the yellow and blue of his new club?
Here is when Ronaldo could make his Al Nassr debut and if viewers in the UK can watch the match on TV.
When could Cristiano Ronaldo make his debut for Al Nassr?
Al Nassr’s next game will be against Al Tai in the Saudi Pro League on Thursday, January 5, with kick-off at 3pm GMT.
Ronaldo is eligible to play in that match and declared himself available for selection during his unveiling on Tuesday afternoon.
According to reports, manager Rudi Garcia is keen to give Ronaldo some minutes against Al Tai ahead of their crunch title match against Al Shabab on Saturday, January 14.
Al Nassr currently sit top of the league, one point ahead of Al Shabab, having played a game more.
If Thursday’s game is indeed Ronaldo’s debut, then Al Nassr’s 25,000 capacity Mrsool Park stadium in Riyadh will be the venue for the Portuguese icon’s debut in Saudi Arabian football.
Ronaldo has not played since coming on as a second-half substitute in Portugal’s World Cup quarter-final defeat to Morocco on December 10.
The 37 year-old had been training at Real Madrid’s training base in December to keep match sharp.
Will Cristiano Ronaldo’s debut be available to watch on TV in the UK?
As things stand, fans in the UK will not be able to watch Ronaldo’s debut for Al Nassr, either be it against Al Tai on January 4 or Al Shabab on January 14.
This is due to the fact that the Saudi Pro League do not have a broadcast or streaming deal with any network in the UK.
The King Cup and Saudi Super Cup – the two other competitions in Saudi Arabian football – are also not shown anywhere in the UK.
The AFC Champions League is available to stream on the online platform OneFootball, with highlights shown on Eurosport.
With Al Nassr not competing in the AFC Champions League this season, fans hoping to catch a glimpse of Ronaldo will need to hope that the club finish first or second in the league this season to qualify automatically for next season’s competition.
