SNOOKER player Kyren Wilson has hit the headlines with his performances this week at the World Snooker Championships.
The world number seven ranked player managed to rack a perfect 147 in his match against Ryan Day in the World Championships at The Crucible Theatre.

Who is Kyren Wilson?
Kyren Wilson was born in Kettering, Northamptonshire on December 23, 1991.
As a youngster, he used to attend an academy run by former world champion Peter Ebdon.
After attending the academy for some time, a young Wilson wanted to turn his hand to some of the junior tournaments.
Growing up from humble beginnings, with his parents Rob and Sonya Wilson, they could not afford for their son to be staying in hotels overnight for events.
As a result, his mother used to drive him to the competitions on the day of his match.
While the youngster would see his fellow competitors sharing their experiences from staying overnight for matches the following day on social media, he realised he had to work that little bit harder than his opponents.
His upbringing moulded and shaped the mentality of the player we see today.
When it comes to playing in competitions, Kyren is completely focussed and likes to “get in the zone” in preparation for his matches.
He has a strict regime and will do things at the same times in preparation for games, even to the extent of always having a cup of tea at a particular time.

Kyren Wilson tied the knot with Sophie Lauren in 2016.
The pair had been dating since 2009 prior to their marriage.
He often mentions his wife on his Instagram posts.
She owns her own online clothing store “Soph and Co”.
Does Kyren Wilson have any children?
Kyren Wilson has two children, Finley Wilson and Bailey Wilson.
He is very family focussed and often says how he hopes to make his children proud with his exploits on the snooker table.
His social media is littered with photos and videos he uploads of his children and is a very proud father.
