Everyone’s talking about the IT girl in And Just Like That and no, it’s not Carrie Bradshaw (sorry SJP). We are – of course – talking about Lisette, played by Katerina Tannenbaum, AKA Carrie’s new neighbour.
So far in And Just Like That, Lisette has an uncomfortable presence in Carrie’s life. Not only is she blaring music at ungodly hours, but she’s also a stark reminder of how Carrie used to live – a thought that doesn’t exactly comfort her. It doesn’t help that Lisette saw Carrie at her lowest (wearing that bonnet-and-rubber-gloves combo to smoke a sneaky cigarette).
Enough about Lisette though, we’re more interested in the actress who plays her. Enter: Katerina Tannenbaum, who also happens to be a long-time fan of Sex and The City. In an Instagram post, Katerina wrote, “And just like that ???? I grew up obsessed with Sex and the City- what an iconic pleasure to play a small part in their rebirth.”

Who is Katerina Tannenbaum?
Born in Portland, Oregon, Katerina moved to New York’s prestigious Stella Adler acting school, where she worked as a waitress and babysat to pay the bills (per V Magazine). She then picked up a few modelling jobs for likes of Adidas and Opening Ceremony, before nabbing her first acting gigs in TV shows like Sweetbitter and The Bold Type.
She told V Magazine, ““I know how lucky I am to call myself a working actor […] There must be something wrong with my brain because I never wanted to give up.”
What else has Katerina Tannenbaum starred in?
As well as landing the role of Lisette in And Just Like That, Katerina has also starred in hit shows, including AJ and The Queen, in which she plays a single mother to a ten-year-old whose travelling across America with a drag queen (played by RuPaul); Better Call Saul, in which she plays Amber, Nacho’s (played by Michael Mando) girlfriend; and Betty, about a group of young women navigating the male-dominated world of skateboarding.
She also had a brief role in the Gossip Girl reboot, in which she played Riley Love.
