It’s been years since I last tried an OFRA Cosmetics liquid lipstick, and I’m really questioning why. I was actually shocked at how featherlight the velvety-finish formula felt on my lips — as if I wasn’t wearing anything at all, much less a long-lasting lipstick.
I don’t wear lip liners with liquid lipstick so application took about 20 seconds, tops. I do, however, apply a lip treatment (like Paula’s Choice Lip Booster) for anywhere from 5 to 20 mins and wipe off the excess balm before going in with any liquid lipstick. (It also helps that OFRA infuses vitamin A, aloe, and vitamin E into this trusty tube.)
From there, the precise doe-foot applicator was perfect for getting into the corners of my lips (what I always spend the most time on) and cupid’s bow, and I was so impressed with the red-leaning terracotta Canyon shade that was nothing short of wearable yet chic. The color stayed intact throughout a relatively oily lunch (impressive) and didn’t require touchups throughout the afternoon. This will definitely be my new go-to when I want something a bit more subtle than my usual bright reds and pinks.
