Moisture, moisture, and more moisture is my motto when it comes to skin care. I may skip out on the retinols, eye creams, and face masks from time to time but never on moisturizers whether they are serums, creams, or gels. When the Laneige Water Bank Moisturizer made its way to my desk, I was excited to try it because I love the brand’s Cica Sleeping Mask and Lip Sleeping Mask. Once I slathered the airy cream on my skin, I knew this moisturizer was a hit. It’s super lightweight but so moisturizing that it works well for the hotter summer months when you don’t want tons of product on your face or the winter season when the cold brings the ashiness to the surface. A little bit of this formula can go a long way — I used about a dime-size for my face and neck and felt it was more than ample. It makes sense when you look at the moisturizing ingredients: It’s full of squalane, ceramides, and blue hyaluronic acid, which is a proprietary ingredient from the brand made by fermenting hyaluronic acid with sea algae-derived Fucoixdan (the say it delivers maximum moisturization, and my skin sure feels hydrated). What’s more: Its squoval blue jar looks so cute on any shelf or bathroom sink.
