Her new fiancé Jake Bongiovi, 20, is a fellow actor and son of musical legend Jon Bon Jovi.

While we’re sure stranger things have happened, the world has blown up over Brown’s shock engagement announcement to Bongiovi.

The news certainly has everyone divided.
It seems many people are struggling with the fact that Brown is engaged at 19 years of age, while others see absolutely no issue with it.
How
Brown shared the news on Instagram with sweet captions referencing Taylor Swift’s lyrics from song Lover.
Bongiovi also shared the news to Instagram, with a simpler caption — “Forever”.
Reactions
The pro reactions include an influx of celebratory comments from well-known personalities and brands around the world.
Instagram itself praised the happy couple: “Congratulations millie and jake”.
One fan on Twitter called it as it is: “The fact that ‘She’s 19’ is trending because older single women are so upset that a 19-year-old Millie Bobby Brown is engaged!! She won. Simple. She chose not to be a 304 for her best years to settle with a cuck in her 30s after she’s been used up.”
Another backed the actor in: “’She’s too young’, ‘they’re gonna divorce in two months’, JUST LEAVE MILLIE BOBBY BROWN ALONE!! LET HER LIVE!!!”
Not everyone shared the same sentiment, though.
The not-so-keen reactions saw a media outlet argue that the celebration was a big problem: “Can we please not celebrate a teenager getting engaged? I know people will say she’s an adult, but barely.”
They believe it sends the message to young women that this is a goal they should try and reach, and a comment on the star’s Instagram post sure backs that in: “I’m the same age as Millie, someone please explain to me what the hell I’m doing with my life.”
The Stranger Things starlet and her new fiancé became romantically involved after meeting on social media.
Brown told her followers the couple were “friends for a bit” before becoming “Instagram official” in June 2021.
Despite the chatter and divided opinions on the engagement, what we do know for sure is that it will be one hell of a wedding.
