Are you looking for a Wild Strawberry manga release date schedule for 2023 so you know when to expect new chapters? The new Shueisha manga series by Ire Yonemoto is being billed as a “battle against monster plants begins,” and the first chapter more than lives up to that description. The first chapter’s intense start and shocking end will make you want more, so here is when you can expect new chapters to be released in 2023.

Wild Strawberry Manga Chapter Release Schedule

You can read Wild Strawberry on the Manga Plus website for free. In addition, you can read the latest three chapters for free, which is excellent since the manga just released, giving you ample time to decide if you like it. However, don’t wait too long; otherwise, you must pay for a membership and use the Shueisha manga and comics app to read chapters beyond the first three.

You can count on Shonen Jump manga to release the new Wild Strawberry chapters on Thursday, as long as the author does not request a break. In the event of an unexpected hiatus, we will promptly update this guide to reflect any changes in release dates.

What is Wild Strawberry About?

Wild Strawberry introduces us to an alternate version of Tokyo, Japan, that has been taken over by evolved flowers that can consume humans to become powerful monsters called Jinka. Because of these new monsters, a force called the Flower Funeral Force eradicates Jinka and anyone that attempts to harbor them. The manga follows two protagonists, Kingo and Kayano, who do their best to survive, but when Kayano becomes a Jinka, Kingo will do anything he can to get her back!

Wild Strawberry Early Impressions

I found Wild Strawberry quite different from what I anticipated based on the description provided in the series announcement by Shueisha. It is a graphic and violent manga that doesn’t shy away from depicting the harsh reality of a parasitic invasion. The genre of this manga reminds me of Chainsaw Man, After God, and Jigokurak, where the world’s dystopian state is portrayed uniquely, which most manga series can’t do effectively. The artwork of Wild Strawberry is exceptional, and the storyline is straightforward to understand, which complements the artwork perfectly. I am incredibly excited to see what happens in the upcoming chapters of this new and genuinely terrifying manga series.
