El Nacional reports that the 38-year-old is keen to get away from Saudi Arabia and join any European club next season. They also claim Real Madrid have potentially handed him a lucrative club ambassador role. But that is next season’s story. He has a league to win in Saudi Arabia.
His team Al-Nassr are in deep trouble as the recent bad patch sees them six points behind title rivals Al-Ittihad. It also saw French manager Rudi Garcia getting sacked. With just six rounds of the Saudi League matches to play, Al-Nassr lock horns against Al-Raed in a crucial match on Friday (April 28).
Al-Raed, 11th in the league table, will be looking to further dampen Al-Nassr’s title hopes. Cristiano Ronaldo’s team are without a win in the last three matches across all competitions. They also lost the recent Cup match against Al-Wehda last Monday.
And as they take on Al-Raed today, it is imperative that Cristiano Ronaldo inspires and motivates his teammates for the final rounds of the league battle.
But will Ronaldo be a part of the team? Will Al-Nassr’s global star start in a crucial match for his current club? Well, it remains to be answered.

Cristiano Ronaldo played in the last match against Al-Hilal, where they lost the match 2-0. Ronaldo also got a yellow card in that match and was jeered by opposition fans with ‘Messi, Messi’ chant.
The former Real Madrid talisman has scored 11 goals in 11 matches for Al-Nassr, but has failed to hit the target in their last two matches. The Portugal international is fully fit to play and Al-Nassr fans will be hoping to see their global superstar rises in a crucial match.
